Prescription Lenses
Progressive Lenses - are characterised by a gradient of increasing lens power. The top of the lens starts at a minimum power and reaches a maximum power towards the bottom of the lens. The wearer can adjust the additional lens power required for clear vision at different viewing distances simply by tilting head position.
Trifocals - are eyeglasses where the lenses have 3 regions to correct for distance, intermediate (arm's length), and near vision. Trifocal lenses are made in similar styles to bifocals, but with an additional segment for intermediate vision.
Bifocals - are eyeglasses with two distinct optical powers for distance sight as well as for close-up use like reading. They are most commonly prescribed to correct for nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.
Single Vision and Reading Glasses- are lenses with one strength of prescription. They are usually used for aiding your vision in a specific activity, like driving or computer use. Reading glasses provide single vision lenses that sharpen near vision for people with presbyopia or hyperopia. Invision Optometric Center has thousands of eyewear frames and lenses in stock to develop a pair of customized readers for you, usually the same day.
Polycarbonate Lenses - are technologically advanced plastic lenses with excellent transparency, durability, and are thinner than glass or conventional plastic. Thin polycarbonate lenses are virtual indestructible, an important safety factor for children, athletes, and adults with active lifestyles.
